This is the first page of the graphic novel that i created, i was aiming for a simplistic block colour style coupled with more detailed elements, for example the dust, clouds and grass. Another thing i wanted to achieve was to be able to tell the story without relying too heavily on dialogue which i feel has worked very well because it is easy to tell how the story progresses from frame to frame.
